People with underlying conditions can receive vaccine.
The CDC has updated its guidance to include adults with underlying health issues into the shortlist for the administration of the currently limited number of COVID-19 vaccines, stating that “adults of any age with certain underlying medical conditions are at increased risk for severe illness from the virus that causes COVID-19.”
Though the guidelines now include at-risk people, the CDC also explains the risks involved with the lack of data around that demographic. Regardless of who receives the vaccination and when, the CDC still recommends that vaccinated people should continue to follow the current safety protocols such as wearing a mask, washing hands, and social distancing.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For the CDC in their care for American health.
- That the Lord would provide resilience to the United States during this pandemic.
- That God’s purpose would be fulfilled through the leadership of President Trump.
